Nelson Nunamaker
Clarence Sr. passed his wealth of knowledge and passion for the roofing trade to his son, Nelson. Building on his father's foundation, Nelson expanded the family's expertise and kept the tradition alive — ensuring that the craft, the values, and the commitment to quality would carry forward to the next generation.
Linda Nunamaker
Nelson integrated his daughter, Linda, into the family business — perpetuating the roofing tradition and keeping it firmly within the family. Linda's involvement marked an important chapter in the legacy, bridging generations and ensuring the family's deep-rooted commitment to craftsmanship would continue to flourish.
Expanding Into Construction
The family's foray into broader construction arenas was spearheaded by Nelson's great-grandson — the fourth generation to carry the family's building tradition. This expansion into wider construction disciplines broadened the family's expertise and set the stage for the specialized roofing company that Hometown Roofing would become.
Tim Hill — Hometown Roofing Today
The evolution culminated with Tim Hill, the great-great-grandson of Clarence Sr., who chose to specialize in all facets of roofing — providing comprehensive solutions for every customer. Tim broadened the company's horizons and built Hometown Roofing into the premier Lowcountry roofing company it is today, proudly serving communities across the Charleston area alongside his partners Kyle Weber and Brandon Hill.

Brandon Hill is the great-great-grandson of Clarence Nunamaker Sr. and Tim Hill's brother — making him the 5th generation of this remarkable roofing family. As CFO of Hometown Roofing, Brandon brings financial discipline and strategic leadership to the company, ensuring that the family's legacy of quality and integrity is built on a foundation as strong as the roofs they install.
